      Vauban fortifications. Inside you will discover exhibitions about New France. 
      
      
      During the summer period, the Chambly Fort is filled with the New France 
      atmosphere during traditional festivities with characters of this period 
      and craftsmen too.

The Chambly canal is one of the historic canals of 
      Quebec, which contributed to the economic growth around River Richelieu. 
      It was built in 1843. It is almost 20 kilometres long.

The Richelieu Fort, in memory of the called cardinal of the same name, was built at the 1665 in the entrance of River Richelieu.
Opened in 1849, it is one of the historic canals of Quebec, most of which were built in the 19 th century. It was a fundamental building for the inland trade between Canada and the United-States. Some souvenirs of this period still remain, like the old lock and the superintendent's house.
