The city of Quebec was founded by Samuel de Champlain on the 3rd of July 1608, 400 years later we remember. From January to October 2008, the city of Quebec comes to life to celebrate the French presence in America.

Many activities will take place in Quebec: a musical festival, an anniversary show, an urban musical theatre, a carnival… The Conference of the French-speaking communities will close the 400th anniversary, this great event for the French culture in America and in the world.
